Top 7 most rated methods on How to read for any exam and Pass Excellently. Do this and thank us later

Most atimes, some students get scared and develop exam fever due to the forthcoming examinations. Yes, that's normal. Hello, how are you doing?. Do you reside inside the university campus or you are off campus, how's your environment?...😊. Ok, let's hit the discussion. I often get emails and messages from students and mentees asking of how to read to pass their exams. If I tutor you, failure isn't an option. Let me take you through this guide.

To pass your exams, you must First read your books and understand it

How do you read?

1) Assimilation

First, find out your suitable reading time. Every student have their unique reading hours and style. Which time is yours?. Some study during the day while some study at Night, or in the evening. Some assimilate between 12 am through 5am after which they won't assimilate anymore, some between 9pm through 12pm etc. While some understand more during the day. Please, do not follow your friends to night class if you're not comfortable reading at night.

2) Jotter

As a serious student, kindly buy a Jotter, the Jotter should be light and easy to carry. Write down your own summary in the Jotter using a tiny and clean hand writing. Keep your jotters in places you can easily access them. Always read through your Jotter.

3) Energy

One mistake you must not make as a student is to study while hungry. Your brain needs adequate glucose to function properly. The rate of Assimilation is higher when your body energy level is adequate. Buy yoghurt, coke or any quality soft drink, sip the drink  in-between during  your Private study because your brain constantly uses glucose when you exercise your brain.

4) Read with Imagination

This method is very effective. Open your notebook or handout, read as if you're watching a play novel. Close your mind and imagine the sentences playing out as a movie. Do that from page to page and within a short period, you will pull in all the topics in the note or handout. Play the scene over and over in your mind, it will stick for a long time. On the day of your  class test or exams, in your mind, hit the play button of how the scene occured. Every thing you read concerning the questions will flow.

5) Group Discussion

It's important to have study partners. Study partners may not necessarily be your friends, they're a group of intelligent students who share the same desire for Success (Ensure they registered the same courses as you did e.g. You're in the same department or same college but different department, for as long as you both registered the same courses and attend classes together. Develop time tables, meet and discuss topics. You may share topics and each will anchor a particular topic. If you're 5 students, each can pick 3 topics, read the them thoroughly, meet and discuss it with your team. That way, you only read 3 topics but understood 15 topics. That's amazing!

6) Teaching

As a student, you can pick few of your room mates or friends and plead with them to pretend as if they're Your student or audience, then teach them what you've read, whether they're listening attentively or not. You can as well tutor your own classmates about the topics you've read. You may even bring out tough topics that you didn't understand properly and start teaching the topic, the more you explain, the more you understand and its retained in your memory.

7) Environment

What kind of environment do you prefer, noisy environment or calm and cool environment. The environment you study in may affect your study.

Go through the points above, follow the methods and kindly go to the comment section and tell me the results or changes you noticed in your academic life. Remember to thank me if it works for you...it's a gradual process, it has worked for numerous students and if you put in the effort, it will work for you.
